KSi Automation is designed with the end user in mind. Safety, Accuracy and Ease of Use are the core features that KSi Automation was designed around. The goal is to allow for the end user to enter the desired weight and the seed ID and the computer does the rest. The system accurately (+/- 10 lbs) dispenses the seed into the certified scale hopper and then is discharged through the treater and into the desired container.

Safety
Each panel has an emergency stop button that can be pressed to shut everything down in case of an emergency. Control Power is maintained on the PLC CPU even when the ESTOP is engaged. An alarm light also alerts operator of anything needing his/her attention.
Home Screen
The HOME screen allows the user to enter information specific to a project, displaying up to two projects at a time. Just touch the desired filed to enter or change information. Job files can be saved and loaded from this screen as well. Seed ID and Seed Amount are entered for each job. Jobs will be split and batched automatically based on scale capacity.
Device Screen Control
Each system device has a graphical representation that will indicate what should be happening with that actual device in process. Conveyors, bins, air gates, scales, and treaters appear on screen. Each device, aside from the treater, is controlled on screen in either AUTO mode or individually stopped and started.
Navigation Control
Each screen has a Navigation Bar that allows you to maneuver from one control screen to another, to control the next device in the process. Touchscreen navigation makes controlling the next or previous device as simple as the press of a button.
Security Code Details
For safety and security, some screen operations are password protected.
Bin Screen Details
Each bin has a corresponding "Bin Seed ID". In AUTO mode, the user will enter desired "Bin Seed ID" which will automatically be transferred from any enabled bin.
Scale Screen Details
The large display at the top of the scale is the actual scale weight matching the display of the Cardinal 210 indicator. The scale screen also displays the status of the current batch process number.
Treater Screen Details
The treater screen shows the activity of the input conveyor, the treater, discharge gate, and the discharge conveyor. In case the treater or level becomes high, then the discharge gate will automatically close to prevent overflow.
AutoBatch V2 Database
Optional Database allows for pre-entering of orders and then loading those orders at the touch screen to run. Each transaction is logged to the database as well as the printed ticket. Reporting capabilities are included. Dell mini with pre-loaded software is provided for plug and play solution.
